My name is Kate Smith and I have a passion for life-long learning and helping others as a former marriage celebrant and through education in all its forms. I love the English language and the fascination with words leads to research and eclectic reading.

I have an education background: teaching – secondary to 2000, tertiary to 2014, corrections from 2017.

Communication, organisation, and administration skills have been developed throughout my career through a number of roles including Rotary International Club President, conference speaker on behalf of Peace Through Unity (PTU), as well as Branch President of United Nations Association of NZ (UNA NZ). I have acted as Master of Ceremonies for various events including Academic Graduations. I am also a regular contributor to the PTU newsletter ‘Many to Many’.
